Opportunity for an experienced Intermediate Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this 20 staff CA firm in Sydney CBD. You will be a part of an organisation that provides strong training and development to fast track your knowledge and career. They work with a variety of clients including SMEs, family groups, investments, NFPs and large private businesses up to $100M turnover.
Reporting to a Manager and a Director, you will be responsible for:
- The preparation of financial statements and tax returns for various SMEs, high net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs
- Work across key tax areas including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A
- Research on tax matters arising from the compliance process
- Assist in tax planning
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies in relation to clients’ tax issues
Ideal Requirements:
- 2-4+ years’ local business services experience in an accounting firm
- CA/CPA studying or upon commencement
- Experience with SMSF admin a bonus (but not essential)
- A self-starter with drive and attention to detail
