Job Purpose

This position is ultimately responsible for the end-to-end financial operation of the Ice Cream Business Agencies in Mexico.

Role

As part of the Ice Cream success, the appointment of a strong Finance lead is critical to the delivery TMICC leadership & people standards, turnover and profit ambitions for the brand and therefore plays a key role in helping drive the broader business agenda through:

  • End-to-end responsibility of the finance administration function in the country (Turnover €400m)
  • Financial rigor and proactive risk management in controlling, accounting, and business performance
  • Creating a business fit for purpose in design, cost, and agility to drive a strong growth and profit agenda with a strong stakeholder management
  • Manage Administration Team in 40 DSD Agencies and deliver transform agenda and team upskilling. (more than +150 pp)

The appointment of an experienced finance professional will be critical to assist in successfully navigating and leveraging the global capabilities of TMICC, while avoiding the some of the corporate and local complexities of an integrated multi-national business. What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

The Administrative & Financial Manager for the Ice Cream Agencies, is responsible for leading the most critical administrative operation within Helados Holanda Mexico business. This role ensures full financial and operational integrity across 40 Ice Cream Agencies, overseeing inventory accuracy, cash collection, document controls, POD processing, cabinet asset management, and overall compliance within the distribution model that serves the traditional trade and convenience channels. He/She will drive profitable growth and assert our market leadership and it is required to take ownership of all the levers of the value chain to drive the financial growth model and deliver the business results. Your mission in the country is crucial.

  • 1. End-to-End Financial & Administrative Leadership of Ice Cream Agencies
  • Serve as the Finance and Administrative Operations Controller for all Ice Cream distribution centers (Agencies) across Mexico.
  • Ensure robust financial and operational governance across 40+ locations, overseeing cash handling, inventories, fixed assets, administrative processes, and compliance.
  • Lead administrative teams responsible for daily route reconciliation, cash collection, inventory control, POD processing, credit documentation, and general agency administration.
  • 2. Cash Collection, Credit & Collections
  • Oversee the complete cash collection process for direct sales distribution routes (traditional trade, convenience, pharma).
  • Ensure full accuracy, safeguarding, and daily reconciliation of cash inflows.
  • Strengthen credit and collection processes by ensuring POD integrity, documentation accuracy, and alignment with national/local credit teams.
  • 3. Inventory, Fixed Assets & Cabinet Control
  • Guarantee strong control over inventories and fixed assets across all distribution centers.
  • Oversee asset management processes including cabinets/cold equipment, contracts, deployment, recoveries, and traceability.
  • Ensure alignment between physical stock, system records, and route sales.
  • 4. Financial Performance Management & P&L Discipline
  • Drive sustainable sales and profit growth, securing a healthy business from top to bottom of the P&L.
  • Partner with Mexico’s Leadership Team to translate business performance into actions that strengthen profitability, cost discipline, and investment returns.
  • Provide financial insights and challenge commercial decisions for both retail and direct sales channels.
  • 5. Strategic Finance & Decision Support
  • Translate the IC strategy into a clear financial leadership agenda, defining long‑term and short‑term performance targets to deliver growth, profit, market share, and operational excellence.
  • Lead investment strategy for commercial activities, ensuring ROI, resource prioritization, and budget alignment.
  • Drive resource allocation across the Agencies to support strategic decision‑making and operational resilience.
  • 6. Risk Management, Controls & Audit
  • Secure a strong control environment across all Ice Cream distribution centers.
  • Lead internal audits and implement corrective actions to strengthen control discipline and reduce operational risk.
  • Proactively identify financial and operational risks, creating mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
  • 7. Operational Excellence, Digitalization & Transformation
  • Co‑lead the transformation journey of the Ice Cream Mexico organization toward greater agility and efficiency.
  • Lead digital and automation initiatives that simplify administrative processes, improve visibility, and enhance financial control.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across administrative and financial workflows.
  • 8. Leadership of a 150+ Person Team
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large administrative and financial operations team across all Agencies.
  • Build analytical, operational, and financial capabilities within the broader finance organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ethics, high performance, and operational excellence.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience in owning a P&L.
  • Finance Leader with clear capability to navigate through operations in DSD (short term) and Strategy in BU (long term)
  • Agile mindset and WoW: accountability, trust, empowerment, collaboration.
  • Always in service of our consumers, customers, and teams, unlocking team’s barriers.
  • Solid strategic thinker, not easily distracted by tactical pressure.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG/Ice Cream category or distribution centers management is highly desirable.
  • The candidate should be a Spanish and English speaker.
