Veridity is seeking an HR Manager to support and strengthen our growing, multi-entity organization! Operating across manufacturing, field services, and international markets, we are continuing to build the structure and processes needed to scale effectively.
This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations across our U.S. entities while also helping to develop and standardize processes that support consistency, accuracy, and long-term growth. It’s a blend of hands-on execution and process improvement; ensuring core HR functions run smoothly while identifying opportunities to enhance how we operate. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across teams, with an interest in building efficient systems and supporting a professional, well-structured work environment.
Domestic HR Operations
- Oversee all aspects of employee onboarding, off boarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Administer payroll coordination through HRIS (Paycor)
- Maintain employee records and documentation
- Coordinate and maintain group healthcare policy + renewals in coordination with brokers
- Coordinate and maintain 401k benefits administration + renewals in coordination with brokers
- Ensure accurate timekeeping processes for salaried and hourly staff
- Track time for job costing purposes; coordinate with Finance to ensure wages are properly allocated to projects (field work, design).
- Support annual performance review processes
- Assist with recruiting coordination and offer administration
- Maintain and update employee handbook and policies (content direction provided by Director of Compliance & Administration)
Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Assist in development of wage bands and compensation frameworks
- Work with CFO & CSO to coordinate commission and incentive plan administration
- Provide workforce data and reporting to Veridity leadership as needed
- Assist with merit increase and performance-based compensation cycles
Payroll Tax Registration & Reporting Support
- Coordinate setup and maintenance of state employee withholding tax IDs for all applicable jurisdictions for office and remote employees across US.
- Maintain state unemployment (SUTA) account registrations and rate documentation
- Coordinate with Paycor to ensure proper state tax setup within payroll system
- Support quarterly reconciliation of wages, tax withholdings, and unemployment reporting within Paycor; coordinate with Paycor to ensure accurate and timely quarterly state filings, including 941 equivalents and SUTA reports.
- Monitor employee work locations to ensure accurate state tax withholding configuration
- Maintain organized documentation of tax account numbers, filing confirmations, and correspondence
Employee Relations & Workforce Support
- Serve as primary HR contact for employees
- Address day-to-day employee relations matters
- Conduct initial internal investigations as needed (in coordination with Director of Compliance & Administration when appropriate)
- Support corrective action documentation and performance management
- Promote professional workplace standards and cultural alignment.
- Develop scalable HR processes to support growth
Compliance & Risk Alignment
- Works with the Director of Compliance & Administration to support employment-related documentation and administrative compliance processes.
- Implement and execute processes in alignment with established compliance frameworks.
Workers’ Compensation & General Liability Audit Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate payroll classifications by job function
- Ensure proper labor coding for field, office, and manufacturing roles
- Provide payroll, 1099, and all required labor reports for carrier audits
- Reconcile wage data with CFO/Finance prior to submission
- Monitor operational changes impacting worker’s comp classifications
- Respond timely to carrier audit requests
- Review and validate audit findings before finalization
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive HR experience
- Experience managing payroll, timekeeping, and workforce systems
- Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-location organizations
- Strong organizational and process design skills
- Experience supporting international HR coordination a plus
