About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team at Ryt Bank. This pivotal role will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, providing expert guidance, and fostering a high-performance culture within assigned business units. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for building strong relationships with business leaders.

What do we expect from this role:

Strategic Partnership:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that support business goals and objectives.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze HR data and provide insights to identify trends and areas for improvement in talent management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain HR-related documentation and resources for assigned business units.

Talent Management:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive talent management practices.
  • Develop and implement talent development strategies and programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage and administer employee relations programs, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations inquiries and resolve any employee-related issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing employee relations programs.
  • Process and manage employee relations documentation and records.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and report on key HR metrics using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on HR-related data and trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS systems.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas to provide data insights for decision-making.

Program Administration:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of HR programs and initiatives within assigned business units.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR activities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws, particularly within the financial sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Workday.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience in the financial sector, with knowledge of banking regulations.
