Our client is a global investment company. They seek a Human Capital Operations Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle activities, including documentation, system updates, and personnel records
  • Maintain employee data across HRIS, payroll, compensation, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Administer multi-country payroll inputs, benefits, immigration processes, and year-end payroll documentation
  • Review payroll transactions, reconciliations, and audit support materials to ensure accurate processing
  • Support compensation planning through market benchmarking, workforce analytics, and compensation modeling
  • Prepare headcount, hiring, compensation, and workforce reports for leadership and planning initiatives
  • Manage recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, candidate tracking, background checks, and onboarding preparation
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including reviews, talent assessments, and HR system administration
  • Maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance with employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, organizational development projects, and continuous improvement of HR processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, human capital operations, compensation, finance, or a similar analytical or operational role
  • Financial services industry highly preferred
  • Experience coordinating with payroll providers, benefits administrators, immigration counsel, background-check providers, or other external vendors is preferred
  • Interest in supporting a broad range of Human Capital activities, including operations, compensation, payroll, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage recurring operational workflows while also supporting ad hoc projects and changing priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with structured datasets, formulas, PivotTables, and recurring reporting. Experience with compensation modeling is a plus
