Our client is a global investment company. They seek a Human Capital Operations Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle activities, including documentation, system updates, and personnel records
- Maintain employee data across HRIS, payroll, compensation, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Administer multi-country payroll inputs, benefits, immigration processes, and year-end payroll documentation
- Review payroll transactions, reconciliations, and audit support materials to ensure accurate processing
- Support compensation planning through market benchmarking, workforce analytics, and compensation modeling
- Prepare headcount, hiring, compensation, and workforce reports for leadership and planning initiatives
- Manage recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, candidate tracking, background checks, and onboarding preparation
- Facilitate performance management processes, including reviews, talent assessments, and HR system administration
- Maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance with employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, organizational development projects, and continuous improvement of HR processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in HR, human capital operations, compensation, finance, or a similar analytical or operational role
- Financial services industry highly preferred
- Experience coordinating with payroll providers, benefits administrators, immigration counsel, background-check providers, or other external vendors is preferred
- Interest in supporting a broad range of Human Capital activities, including operations, compensation, payroll, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage recurring operational workflows while also supporting ad hoc projects and changing priorities
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with structured datasets, formulas, PivotTables, and recurring reporting. Experience with compensation modeling is a plus
