This role leads the implementation of risk management and patient safety programs within the hospital. This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen a culture of safety, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and drive continuous quality improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate risk management programs across all hospital units.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the hospital’s risk management and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Committee to manage the patient safety incident reporting system, incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Develop and maintain the hospital risk register and formulate risk mitigation plans for clinical and operational processes.
  • Facilitate the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new services or high-risk processes.
  • Conduct an analysis of the hospital’s patient safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with the hospital accreditation standards such as STARKES and JCI.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and data analyses to support reporting to the CEO, quality audits, and accreditation preparation.
  • Provide education and training to staff on patient safety and risk management.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and committees to support hospital programs related to risk management and patient safety.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Hospital Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital settings, preferably in Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, or PMKP.
  • Master’s degree in Hospital Management (MARS) or related field will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with hospital quality management systems and patient safety frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of hospital accreditation standards (KARS / JCI).
  • Experience in incident investigation methods (RCA, FMEA) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to improving patient safety and healthcare quality.
