A rapidly scaling beauty brand in the SPF and skincare category is seeking a Head of Operations to lead its global supply chain, production, and logistics function.
With strong momentum across ecommerce, retail, and international markets, the business is entering its next phase of growth and requires a senior operator to build the infrastructure needed to scale globally while maintaining product quality, compliance, and speed to market.
This is a hands-on, build-and-scale role with full ownership of end-to-end operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and global distribution.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the entire operational ecosystem, from production through to global logistics and delivery.
You will be responsible for ensuring the business can scale efficiently across multiple markets, while navigating the complexity of SPF/skincare regulations, offshore manufacturing, and global fulfilment networks.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and execution, with a strong focus on building systems, improving processes, and driving operational performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Global Supply Chain & Logistics
- Own and optimise global logistics across AU, US, and key international markets
- Manage and scale 3PL partnerships to support DTC and retail growth
- Oversee freight strategy (air vs sea), cost optimisation, and delivery performance
- Ensure seamless inventory flow across ecommerce and wholesale channels
Production & Manufacturing
- Manage offshore and local manufacturing partners
- Align production timelines with product launches and demand
- Ensure strong supplier relationships focused on reliability, quality, and compliance
SPF / Beauty Compliance
- Oversee operational requirements relating to SPF and skincare regulations across global markets
- Ensure products meet relevant compliance standards across key regions
- Work closely with regulatory and product teams to support market expansion
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Improve forecasting accuracy and stock availability
- Balance inventory across channels and regions
- Minimise stockouts and excess inventory
Process & Systems
- Build scalable processes and operational frameworks
- Implement reporting, KPIs, and controls across the supply chain
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and develop the operations and supply chain team
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- Act as a key advisor to leadership on operational strategy and risk
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior operations or supply chain leadership role
- Background in beauty, skincare, SPF, or FMCG brands
- Strong experience managing global logistics and 3PL networks
- Experience working across international markets (US exposure highly regarded)
- Understanding of SPF/skincare regulatory requirements
- Experience scaling operations in a high-growth, DTC-led business
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance growth with operational efficiency
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to build and improve systems
