Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute BU's Financial strategy, creating a comprehensive financial plan for all geographical markets that the BU operates in
  • Ensure that BU’s Financial strategy is in line with TU Group's overarching profitability and revenue targets
  • Constantly perform scenario analysis, rigorously stress-testing existing plans, and adjust them as needed in response to market changes.
  • Oversee the development and execution of both short and long-term BU financial plans aligned with TU's growth and profitability
  • Oversee the management and prediction of BU-specific financial risks, including commodity prices and market volatility
  • Drive continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency by managing and optimizing FP&A frameworks
  • Oversee the standardization of FP&A practices and guidelines across the BU to ensure uniformity in the financial reporting and auditing process, promoting alignment with the Group's overall financial objectives
  • Spearhead initiatives to improve BU operational efficiency and oversee the implementation of advanced financial systems
  • Oversee end-to-end BU performance and set finance function metrics for OEM commercial
  • Oversee and coordinate implementation of improvements and technological transformations that enhance financial control and efficiency across BU by engaging with key partners for effective communication and collaboration
  • Act as a trusted advisor for business leaders, advising the BU on areas of improvement while providing decision support to functions to drive informed business growth and development
  • Oversee the consolidated planning, forecasting, and budgeting process across the BU, ensuring adherence to proper financial procedures and improving forecast accuracy
  • Review budgets and financial forecasts of the BU to ensure results are in line with overall strategy and long-term objectives.
  • Oversee and evaluate the financial performance of BU against targets and KPIs, re-prioritizing initiatives as needed based on business strategy, and ensure accurate FP&A analysis, e.g., life cycle costing, the setup of new products, and updates to existing products
  • Drive decisions on the financial attractiveness of new and existing projects and initiatives
  • Oversee FP&A analysis and management for commercial planning, e.g., price analysis, promotion budget allocation planning, setup of new products, and updates to existing products
  • Supervise the preparation of internal management and business performance reports tailored to BU needs, such as variance analysis of actuals vs plan and detailed budget impact assessments on BU financials, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of business performance reporting.
  • Motivate, lead and challenge OEM Finance team members to reach/ exceed targets and objectives
  • Foster an environment of open communication and teamwork to embody a strong culture of collaboration and set a positive working culture with teams across OEM Finance
  • Build a diverse and trust-based team, manned with ideal team players, working as a true team across sub-functions
  • Create the culture to attract, develop and retain talent as well as drive employee satisfaction within the OEM Finance function in collaboration with HR
  • Develop a strong internal leadership pipeline with a focus on developing local talent.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and competencies
  • Oversee hiring and mentorship of a high-performing finance team across markets
  • Manage people budget for OEM Finance in collaboration with HR
