FRONT LINE Forwarding & Agency, is a growing company in the Marine Logistics industry committed to financial excellence and accuracy.
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Head Of Accounting to lead our accounting team and ensure the integrity of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and the General Ledger (GL), payroll.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the month-end closing processes
- Participate in year-end closing processes, in collaboration with external financial accountants
- Oversee tax compliance, audits, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to the Management.
- Supervise and mentor a small accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
