Head of Finance, Accounting and IT
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in economics
- 3 years of experience in managing finance and accounting function
- experience in managing around 10 people
- independency in preparation of various financial reports (incl. year end closing) in accordance with the law and internal needs
- Proven experience in collaborating with auditors and various financial institutions.
- strong knowledge MS Office, especially MS Excel, while experience in SAP and Planning and BI tools is an advantage
- English language – fluency
- ability to organize, manage and lead a team
- excellent communication skills, punctuality and cooperative approach
- strong time management, independency in work and commitment to work
- driver's license "B" category – active driver
Job description and responsibilities:
- responsibility for and management of finance, accounting and IT
- prepare and oversee all statutory and management reporting, including financial statements, tax returns, annual reports, audit documentation, and internal reporting, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and Group policies.
- lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing accurate projections and meaningful insights to support business decision-making.
- identify and implement tax optimization opportunities, including tax incentives, subsidies, and other available benefits, while ensuring full compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- manage financial risk by reviewing and assessing contracts related to finance, accounting, and information systems, safeguarding the company's financial interests.
- ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements in the areas of finance and accounting.
- serve as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and other regulatory bodies.
- monitor regulatory changes and proactively implement necessary adjustments to financial and accounting processes.
- provide strategic financial support to senior management through financial analysis, business recommendations, and performance monitoring.
- drive continuous improvements in financial controls, reporting processes, and overall financial management practices.
- take overall responsibility for the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the company's financial and accounting operations.
