An international leading crypto firm is seeking a highly capable and ambitious Head of Finance to join its European operations, based in Luxembourg. This is a senior leadership role offering significant ownership, cross-border exposure, and the opportunity to shape and enhance finance processes within a fast-paced, regulated environment. Relocation support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the European Finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and continuous process improvement
- Oversee financial accounting, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, including variance analysis and performance insights
- Partner with Operations, Compliance, and global teams to ensure effective financial governance, treasury management, and process alignment
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience in finance within regulated financial services (e.g. banking, fintech, payments, or similar)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, controls, and exposure to IFRS and/or local GAAP
- Fluency in English and Japanese is essential
