A private equity-backed, high-growth company is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead financial strategy, operations, capital planning, and M&A initiatives. This executive-level role will work closely with the CEO, investors, and senior leadership team to drive business performance, support strategic growth, and maximize shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all finance functions, including FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting.
- Develop and execute capital strategy while managing relationships with lenders, investors, and financial partners.
- Support mergers and acquisitions through financial evaluation, due diligence, transaction execution, and post-acquisition integration.
- Build and scale financial systems, processes, and controls to support company growth.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
- Prepare the organization for future exit opportunities, including investor reporting and financial readiness.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior executives, investors, and board members.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed organization; CFO-level exposure strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in capital markets, debt financing, and M&A transactions.
- Proven track record supporting successful exit events, recapitalizations, or strategic transactions.
- Experience managing complex financial structures and multi-entity organizations.
- CPA and/or MBA required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
