We are looking to recruit a Head of Finance for a successful and growing family-owned business, operating in the multi-site leisure sector.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
Produce annual budgets, and updated forecasts for the business. - Financial Reporting:
Produce monthly management accounts, annual reports, and variance analyses for the Shareholders/Senior Management. Produce key performance reports. - Compliance & Governance:
Ensure accurate financial records, manage the annual audit process, and comply with tax and statutory requirements. - Financial oversight:
Manage daily finance operations including payroll, working capital and cash management, and bank reconciliations. Manage relationship with bank. - Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance department – a team of three full timers – to ensure that processing and reconciliations are kept up to date. - Decision Support:
Provide analytical insights for business development, cost savings, and investment opportunities.
- Experienced Head of Finance or Finance Business Partner.
- CIMA or ACCA qualified ( or part- qualified if practical experience is suitable)
- Experience in multi site leisure sector is desirable but not essential.
- Experience:
Proven experience in senior financial roles, including team management.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software. The company uses Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Experience of this system would be desirable but not essential. Proficiency in MS Excel is expected. xekaoyc

Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
