HireForce is exclusively partnering with a leading International Manufacturing Group based in Mullingar to appoint a Head of Finance. This is a high-impact, pivotal role where you won't just report numbers—you will shape the financial strategy, partner with global manufacturing sites, and lead a high-performing team to excellence.
The Role
As Head of Finance, you will hold the reins of the Group’s financial reporting and operational efficiency. You will act as a key business partner, ensuring that financial insights drive smarter decisions across all international locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and evolve the Financial Reporting Team, fostering a culture of best-practice and continuous professional growth.
- Strategic Reporting: Own the full reporting cycle (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) for the Group, ensuring precision and meeting rigorous deadlines.
- Compliance & Governance: Safeguard the Group’s integrity by ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements across Ireland, the UK, and European entities.
- Operational Ownership: Take full ownership of critical functions, including stock control, transfer pricing management, and treasury (Banking, Insurance, and FX exposure).
- Systems Innovation: Act as a lead contributor in the design and implementation of next-generation financial reporting systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors and key site leads.
Your Profile
We are looking for a rigorous, analytical leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 7+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience within a large-scale manufacturing or complex international environment is highly preferred.
