The Head of Finance will serve as a key financial leader, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and partnering closely with the executive leadership team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and risk management, ensuring financial sustainability and growth in an evolving omnichannel retail landscape.
This is a high-visibility role requiring a strong strategic mindset, deep financial expertise, and the ability to drive business transformation in a competitive retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the company’s multi-channel retail growth objectives
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee budget planning, financial modeling, and forecasting to provide actionable insights for decision-making
- .Retail Financial Analytics: Drive profitability analysis, sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and margin optimization to enhance revenue growth
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory adherence
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial operations, cash flow management, inventory valuation, and cost control initiatives to improve bottom-line performance
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support: Evaluate potential strategic investments, partnerships, and acquisitions, providing financial due diligence
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, investors, and key stakeholders to align financial performance with corporate goals
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce
- Proven expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Experience with inventory management, retail pricing models, and supply chain finance
- trong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and retail industry compliance standards
- Experience in M&A, fundraising, and investor relations is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a strategic and data-driven approach to problem-solving
Compensation & Benefit
- Base Salary: $260,000 – $300,000
