We have partnered with a market leading multi-service retail business, to appoint their new Head Commercial Finance to support their continued growth.
Reporting into the Director of Commercial Finance, this is a important position responsible for driving pace, commerciality and financial performance. You will take ownership of commercial finance within one of the company divisions, leading financial planning & performance and supporting with a successful integration of people, systems and processes; driving significant change across the division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Financial Planning & Performance Analysis: leading aspects of financial planning, performance reporting, retail data analytics & insights, commercial decision support and improve reporting and analysis processes for the division.
- Commercial Strategy & Value Creation: identifying opportunities, leading budgeting, developing scenario modelling, providing commercial data driven insights to improve financial outcomes, and supporting investment decisions to deliver business growth.
- Retail Business Partnering: building capability around retail business partnering and working closely with the director of commercial finance to elevate commercial performance of the division.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstratable track record of commercial finance / FP&A
- Operating in fast-paced multi-site commercial businesses
- Hands-on, impactful, self-starter
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is ambitious, thrives in a dynamic environment and is used to working in commercial finance. The appointed candidate will have a track record of working in a fast paced retail and multi-site environment, and can be a positive contributor to the team and finance function to support the company's continuing growth journey.
