Brent Oil Corporation, owned and founded by Mr. Edward William Tan, traces its beginnings way back in September 2000, with a station lot area of 21,000 square meters located at KM 30, NLEX, Southbound lane, San Juan, Balagtas Bulacan.
With Petron gasoline station as its main service station, clean and air-conditioned comfort rooms are one of the favorites of the customers. The station was also improved by the installation of a wide selection of stores such as Treats and Subway that were franchised by Mr. Tan himself. Some locators such as McDonald’s and Starbucks also started with them.
After a couple of years, Brent Oil ventured into a partnership with Federal Group who followed the same setup of Bulacan. It was later established in Marikina and Roxas Boulevard and carrying different established brands such as Petron, Jollibee, Subway, Krispy Kreme, and counting.
From there, the business continued to prosper in different locations such as Petron Junction in Quezon City, Petron Naga in Las Pinas, Petron in Macapagal Avenue, and Petron Paso de Blas in Valenzuela. Through all the years of their existence, Brent continuously refined all the developments that they can do to give the best service to their loyal customers. Currently, the latest project in Bulacan is the Automatic Carwash service, the first and only drive-thru carwash in the area, wherein the standard washing only takes about 8 minutes.
Up to this date, with continued hard work and quality services, Petron, together with the locators, consistently perseveres in bringing more quality services.
Role Description
As the Head of Accounting, you will oversee the financial health of the organization through accurate financial reporting and adherence to the highest accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounting operations, conducting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will also lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and ensuring operational excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bulacan
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
- In-depth knowledge of Finance, Accounting principles, and Financial Reporting standards
- Leadership experience in managing an accounting team and driving results
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
