We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Group Financial Controller to oversee the Group’s financial operations, including financial reporting and analysis, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. As a trusted business partner, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance, managing risk, and supporting sustainable growth across the organization.

Here's How You Will Add Value:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations and financial reporting functions of the Group.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including group consolidation and audited accounts.
- Prepare accurate and timely statutory and management reports to support business decisions.
- Ensure timely submission of Bursa Malaysia quarterly reports and other regulatory filings.
- Liaise with external auditors and Company Secretary to ensure compliance and smooth audit processes.
Treasury Management
- Manage Group liquidity, cash flow, and debt obligations.
- Optimize capital structure and secure funding requirements.
- Manage banking and investor relationships.
- Mitigate foreign exchange and interest rate risks through appropriate hedging strategies.
Taxation
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate tax and SST filings.
- Ensure prompt payment of tax and SST obligations.
- Resolve audit and tax-related matters efficiently.
Leadership & Business Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive implementation of finance strategies, policies, and best practices across the Group.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
- Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Review and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Support system integration and ERP-related projects.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure timely reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia, MDEC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain effective relationships with auditors, regulators, banks, investors, and key stakeholders.
- Undertake ad hoc assignments, reports, and special projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and financial management.
- Proven experience leading and managing finance teams.
- Experience in financial reporting, treasury, taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance.
- Audit experience is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems and group consolidation processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and internal controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience with ERP and financial consolidation systems.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High integrity with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
