Position Overview:

The Group Financial Controller will serve as a key member of Snell Manufacturing’s Finance and Administration team, primarily overseeing the financial operations of one of our operating companies. This role requires a critical thinker who can operate tactically and strategically while driving financial improvements and innovation. The successful candidate will challenge existing processes, propose impactful solutions, and shape the financial future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and distribute accurate monthly financial statements.

Conduct monthly general ledger account reconciliations.

Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable management.

Perform working capital analysis to optimize cash flow.

Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis.

Assist in developing and implementing internal financial policies and procedures.

Establish and maintain financial reporting and budgeting standards.

Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to support senior management decisions.

Travel to various sites up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

7+ years of relevant accounting or financial experience.

Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

Proficiency in accounting software and adaptability to new systems.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical financial practices.

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

CPA certification is preferred but not required.
