Your new role
🧭 Key Responsibilities
- Lead corporate group accounting and financial consolidation functions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes across multiple reporting entities.
- Review and reconcile consolidated financial and management reports for regional business units.
- Collaborate closely with group leadership and regional finance teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring for corporate entities.
- Champion process optimization and cost control initiatives across the group.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and banking covenants.
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end statutory reporting.
- Support special projects including M&A activities, entity restructuring, and new setups.
- Manage tax compliance across jurisdictions, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
- Liaise with tax advisors and authorities to resolve queries and ensure timely filings.
- Prepare quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) reports and support global tax compliance initiatives such as BEPS 2.0.
What you'll need to succeed
🎓 Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional certification (CA/CPA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in group consolidation and reporting.
- Background in Big 4 audit firms and/or multinational corporations in manufacturing or commodities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse cultures and functions.
