Immediate opening for a senior finance leader responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and performance of financial reporting across multiple plants ($500M+) in the United States. This role drives operational decision-making, proactively manages financial performance, and partners closely with plant and operations leadership to improve cash flow, reduce invested capital, and deliver continuous improvement in cost and productivity.

Select Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop plant finance associates across the North American manufacturing organization, fostering engagement, accountability, and results orientation.
  • Own the review and integrity of monthly financials and KPI reporting for manufacturing plants, ensuring compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.
  • Lead the annual and long-range business planning process for plant operations, incorporating productivity, sourcing, and cost targets.
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and deliver clear, actionable variance analysis and scenario-based insights to plant and operations leadership.
  • Drive proactive financial performance management, including corrective actions to improve margins, reduce invested capital, and enhance cash flow.
  • Implement and continuously improve business processes, systems, policies, and internal controls to ensure accounting rigor supports operational goals with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
  • Develop and maintain inventory policies and controls across global operations, including cycle counts, physical inventories, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for internal and external audits, coordinating documentation, responses, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrixed global organization and travel as business needs require.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 10+ years of progressive financial experience, including operational controllership in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing finance or controllership experience desired
  • Cost Accounting a plus
  • People management required (position manages up to 10 Controllers via 4 direct reports). Focus is on oversight of finance across multiple sites
  • Challenge plant controllers on forecast assumptions, actual spend, and cost discipline
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational accountability across the network
  • Coach direct reports on plant performance and financial execution
  • Monitor expenses, lead cross-functional projects, and strengthen business partnering
  • Focus on financial operations within the bearing manufacturing organization
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, variance analysis, root cause analysis, and operational decision support.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and execute effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel; strong systems and process orientation.
