We are currently recruiting for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join a successful and growing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role within the finance team, offering broad responsibility across group reporting, controls, and financial management, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of group management accounts and reporting packs.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain key financial controls across the group.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and support decision-making.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis where required.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial governance.
- Support statutory reporting and audit processes during the contract period.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in group finance, financial reporting, or a similar senior finance role.
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident working to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP or finance systems would be advantageous.
