Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven Group Finance Director to lead and scale our global finance organization. As a core member of the executive team, you will be responsible for shaping the company’s financial strategy, capital structure, and long-term value creation, while ensuring strong financial governance across multiple jurisdictions. This role goes beyond traditional finance operations—you will act as a key business partner to the CEO, driving growth, optimizing capital efficiency, and supporting global expansion.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in corporate finance, operational finance, combined with the agility to operate in a fast-scaling fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Finance & Capital Strategy
- Define and lead the company’s capital strategy, including capital structure optimization, funding roadmap, and liquidity planning
- Drive fundraising, financing activities, and investor engagement, including equity and debt transactions
- Evaluate and execute strategic investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
- Optimize return on capital and support long-term enterprise value creation
Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, shaping business strategy, pricing, and expansion decisions
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support rapid growth and market entry strategies
- Establish clear financial KPIs and performance frameworks, linking financial outcomes to business drivers
- Provide actionable insights on unit economics, profitability, and cost efficiency
Treasury & Capital Efficiency
- Oversee group treasury operations, including liquidity management, cross-border fund flows, and capital allocation
- Design and optimize settlement, clearing, and payment flows to enhance capital productivity
- Manage relationships with banks, custodians, and financial institutions to support global operations
- Implement robust risk management frameworks covering liquidity, FX, and counterparty exposure
Financial Ecosystem & External Stakeholders Parternership
- Build and manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners
- Represent the company in financing discussions, strategic negotiations, and external engagements
- Strengthen Longbridge’s credibility and positioning within the global financial ecosystem
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with multi-jurisdictional financial and regulatory requirements
- Establish best-in-class financial governance, internal controls, and audit frameworks
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to manage regulatory complexity and financial risk exposure
Finance Infrastructure & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a scalable, high-performing global finance organization
- Drive finance transformation, including systems, automation, and data infrastructure
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration through robust financial processes and decision support systems
- Develop strong leadership bench strength within the finance function
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive finance leadership experience, with a strong track record as a CFO or senior finance executive in fintech, securities brokerage, investment banking, or technology sector
- Deep expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and fundraising
- Strong understanding of brokerage, trading, and financial services business models
- Proven experience managing international operations and multi-entity structures
- Demonstrated success in partnering with executive teams to drive business growth and strategy
- Experience engaging with investors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese to support cross-regional collaboration
