Group Corporate Development Executive Jobs in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland at Prospects

Title: Group Corporate Development Executive

Company: Prospects

Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland

The Opportunity

We’re exclusively partnering with a large PLC to appoint a Group Corporate Development Executive to its Dublin HQ.

This is a high-impact role within a well-established in-house M&A team, offering exposure to end-to-end transactions, strategic projects, and engagement with senior stakeholders across a global organisation.

This position provides a unique opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a front-office corporate development role, working closely with senior leadership on acquisitions and strategic initiatives. The role also offers strong long-term progression opportunities into Group Finance or senior operational finance roles.

The Role

As part of a high-performing corporate development team, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing M&A opportunities across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and strategic investments
  • Delivering detailed financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis
  • Managing elements of the transaction lifecycle, from initial assessment through to completion
  • Coordinating and overseeing due diligence processes (financial, commercial, legal)
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors (legal, tax, corporate finance)
  • Supporting the preparation of investment papers and Board-level presentations
  • Assisting in the negotiation and review of transaction documentation
  • Contributing to broader strategic and corporate development projects

About You

You’ll be a high-calibre finance professional with strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in M&A and strategy. This will suit a newly qualified accountant.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), ideally trained in a Big 4 firm
  • Experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or M&A
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Exposure to due diligence and deal processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities

International experience or additional language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential.

Why Apply?

  • Join an FTSE 100 organisation with a strong track record of growth through acquisition
  • Gain hands-on experience across end-to-end M&A transactions
  • Work directly with senior leadership and decision-makers
  • Clear pathway for career progression internally
  • Exposure to international projects and markets

Next Steps

If you’re looking to move into a commercial, deal-focused role with real visibility and progression, we’d be keen to speak with you.

This is the start of a career role, aimed at €75-€80k, 10% pension, 15% bonus. A first mover from a training role in the Big 4 or industry would be the ideal fit.
