Our partner is a PE-backed technology business with operations across multiple entities in Western Europe. The finance function is being built and the Group Controller is the most critical hire in that journey. You report directly to the CEO and operate as the most senior finance person in the business.
Your responsibilities as Group Controller
- Consolidated monthly reporting across all entities and production of investor-ready board packs for the CEO and PE partners
- Annual budgeting, rolling reforecasts and variance analysis with performance metrics tracking
- Review and challenge of entity-level bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and consistency across the group
- ERP and consolidation tool ownership with hands-on improvement of financial processes and systems
- Direct support to the CEO on strategic financial decisions as the sole senior finance resource in the business
Your profile as Group Controller
- 6 to 12 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in multi-entity controlling or FP&A
- Big 4 foundation is a plus
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and consolidation tools
- Remote within BE/UK or on site in London, occasional travel required
