As our firm grows, we are seeking a Graduate Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our growing Brisbane team. This role is ideal for someone with 0-2 years’ experience in insolvency who is ready to take the next step toward file autonomy, team leadership, and professional growth.
🔧 Your Role
You’ll take ownership of key aspects of a range of corporate and personal insolvency matters — from voluntary administrations and liquidations to bankruptcies and advisory work. You’ll also support junior staff and contribute to improving our systems and processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day tasks across a portfolio of insolvency appointments
- Draft reports, statutory lodgements, and stakeholder correspondence
- Assist with investigations, asset realisations, and court/ASIC/AFSA documentation
- Liaise with creditors, debtors, employees, and legal advisors
- Review junior staff work and provide guidance where appropriate
- Support the leadership team with internal improvements and process development
🧩 What You Bring
- You will be a motivated self-starter who enjoys learning new skills and applying them in a commercial and practical manner
- Accounting, business or law degree (or in final year)
- Experience in accounting will be well regarded (but is not essential)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A team-first mindset and a willingness to support others
- Full Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident)
