SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Roodepoort. Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Graduate Financial Accountant who is eager to build a career within a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for finance, looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support the finance team with general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial procedures
- Support audits and assist with audit preparation
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Recent graduate or up to 1–2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong academic record
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
