Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Graduate Finance Executive to join our team at our Dublin headquarters. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop a career in finance within a dynamic and growing healthcare company, while gaining exposure to all areas of financial operations and business performance.
This position is ideally suited to a graduate with a strong interest in financial management, reporting, and business analysis who is looking to build a long-term career in finance. This role is full-time and office-based in our Dublin location.
The Role The Graduate Finance Executive will support the Finance Manager across all aspects of financial operations, reporting and compliance.
Working across multiple departments, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance.
Working closely under the guidance of the Finance Manager, this is a varied and developmental role offering significant career progression within a growing healthcare company.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
• Assist in ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Support reconciliation and general ledger accounts
Audit & Compliance
• Assist with the annual audit process
• Support preparation of statutory filings and financial documentation
Day-to-Day Finance Operations
• Support daily financial activities including sales and purchase processing
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
Financial Analysis & Business Insights
• Monitor financial performance and assist with identifying areas for improvement
• Support cost analysis and pricing reviews to maintain margins
• Provide financial and sales data insights to support decision-making
Forecasting & Planning
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assist in maintaining rolling forecasts and financial models
Payroll & Expenses
• Assist with payroll administration, expenses and pension processes
• Ensure accurate processing and record keeping
Regulatory & Tax Compliance
• Support preparation and filing of VAT returns, VIES, Intrastat and other regulatory submissions
• Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations
Administration & General Support
• Maintain financial records and internal systems
• Support process improvements across the finance function
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required
The successful candidate will possess:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
