Role Description The Global Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s global financial strategy, operations, and governance. This role oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling to support strategic decision-making across all regions. The Global VP of Finance will direct the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with executive leadership on business planning, evaluating investments and capital allocation, monitoring cash flow, and driving profitability and cost-optimization initiatives. The role also includes building and leading a high-performing global finance team, managing relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners, and implementing scalable financial systems and processes that support growth in the luxury jewelry sector.
Qualifications
- Strong finance foundation, including expertise in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing KPIs to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Highly developed Analytical Skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making, scenario analysis, and financial modeling in a global context.
- Extensive leadership experience overseeing global finance teams, with the ability to mentor, develop, and manage diverse, distributed staff.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role (e.g., VP Finance, CFO, or equivalent) within product-based or luxury goods industries is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or optimizing ERP and financial systems, policies, and internal controls across multiple entities or regions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; an MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, high-growth environment, manage multiple priorities, and operate across time zones as needed.
