Join Lightspeed as a Global Tax Manager and lead our Finance team in navigating complex tax landscapes. This position invites experienced professionals with a strong CPA background and expertise in international taxation.
As the Global Tax Manager, you’ll work closely with the Director of Tax to manage our global tax initiatives. This includes overseeing compliance processes, guiding tax strategy, and mentoring a dedicated team. You’ll analyze international tax regulations and ensure our filings and audits are precise and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee global tax functions and lead the Tax team
• Coordinate compliance filings and financial tax reporting
• Manage global sales tax return filings and payments
• Provide advisory support to various business units
• Monitor proposed tax legislation for company impact
Requirements:
• 8-10 years of tax experience in public accounting and corporate settings
• CPA designation necessary
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax regulations
• Experience with transfer pricing required
• Exceptional attention to detail and discretion
