A global asset management firm is seeking to hire an Investment Specialist to join the Global Equities investment team. This role will support the Portfolio Managers and act as a conduit between the investment team and sales/client group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of global equity strategies and articulate the investment process, portfolio performance and market trends to clients and prospects
- Portfolio analysis relating to portfolio positioning, interpreting performance and attribution data
- Direct client interaction and act as a primary contact for clients on investment related queries thus needing in depth knowledge of financial markets
- Involved in the production of detailed investment related marketing materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team
- Developing and promoting strategies both internally and externally
- Relevant work experience in an investment/product specialist, investment analyst or similar role
- Strong interest in equity investing and macroeconomics
- Knowledge of global equity securities/portfolios
- Completed or working towards CFA qualification
- Ability to present and communicate with key stakeholders within the business
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of self-awareness
