About The Role
We are a growing independent fashion brand looking for a detail-oriented, commercially minded Merchandiser to join us on a part-time basis (approximately 10 hours per week). You'll be the numbers brain behind our product strategy which helps us make smarter buying, ranging, and stock decisions.
What You'll Do
- Analyse sales data across a fragmented SKU base to identify trends, winners and slow-movers
- Produce clear, actionable trading reports (weekly/monthly) to support buying and promotional decisions
- Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates, and intake plans
- Maintain and optimise product and inventory data
- Flag and reconcile data discrepancies across systems
- Support range planning and open-to-buy (OTB) management
- Work closely with the Finance team to translate the budget into a buy plan
- Work alongside the design team to advise on new product ranges
- Building and carrying out end of month, end of quarter and yearly plan reports.
- Working with the executive team to form and implement sales and buying strategy.
- Monitors and maintains buying margin and gross profit margins as requested.
- Analyses and monitors best and worst sellers and makes informed recommendations for future orders
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in fashion or apparel
- Strong analytical skills – comfortable working with large, messy datasets and multiple SKUs
- Self-starter who can work independently and communicate findings clearly
- Commercially aware with a genuine interest in fashion and product
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Understanding of basic financial concepts
- Experience working within a small or independent fashion brand
- Familiarity with multi-channel retail (wholesale + D2C)
- Shopify — product management, data exports, and reporting
- Mintsoft — stock and fulfilment management
General Overview:
Strengthen brand's merchandising & buying capability to support the business growth in all channels. Mainly responsible for product and capsule development, assortment selection, unit projection, pricing, product performance, promotion, and inventory management.

- The ability and drive for achieving and surpassing targets against internal or external standards of excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the fashion merchandising/buying industry focusing on apparel, purchasing and product development experience required
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Fashion and trend sensitive
- Excellent commercial sense
- Work well in dynamic cross-function team under pressure and constant changes
- Good communication and presentation skill
- Fluent in both Mandarin & English is a must
- Advance in Microsoft Office, especially in excel and ppt
- Strong emphasis on team work, willing to learn and assist others, even outside the assigned work scope
