Who should apply?

This role will suit commercially minded finance professionals with strong FP&A or commercial finance experience looking to join a dynamic and growing Financial Services business. Suitable candidates will likely have the following experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5+ years’ PQE
  • Strong experience in FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills with experience dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Experience within Financial Services or a regulated environment would be beneficial

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will work closely with the local leadership team, wider finance function, and senior stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts and reporting packs outlining key financial performance metrics
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles across the business
  • Working closely with operational and support functions to manage costs, identify efficiencies, and support commercial decision-making
  • Providing detailed commentary and variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior year performance
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting financial information to leadership teams and board members
  • Supporting project managers with business cases, investment appraisals, and tracking spend against expected returns
  • Monitoring business expenditure and supporting the identification of cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements
  • Supporting investor reporting requirements and liaising with key stakeholders on financial reporting matters
