Salary: $100,000 – $118,000 DOE
Overview
Our firm is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Consultant to support a client’s financial planning and analysis function during a period of transition. This individual will play a key role in ensuring continuity across planning, forecasting, and reporting activities while delivering timely financial insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Modeling
- Maintain and enhance financial and operating models, including budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support recurring planning cycles, monthly close, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify financial risks and variances, providing proactive solutions
Reporting & KPI Management
- Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
- Provide visibility into business performance and trends
Analysis & Strategic Support
- Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and support special projects with actionable recommendations
- Assist leadership in data-driven decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders to gather and validate financial and operational data
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and data integrity
- Work with internal teams to support financial systems and reporting needs
Systems & Tools
- Utilize platforms such as Salesforce and Net Suite to extract, analyze, and model financial data
- Support ongoing improvements to financial systems, reporting tools, and data processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably within SaaS or recurring revenue environments
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Salesforce and Net Suite reporting and data extraction
- Ability to quickly ramp up and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting executive leadership
