FP&A and Business Controlling Lead – eCommerce scale-up
Join a major eCommerce scale-up as Controlling Lead. The company is growing quickly and is looking for someone with strong eCommerce experience setting up and delivering management reporting, FP&A and Controlling to build up the business control function for the group.
Working with key stakeholders across areas including logistics, supply chain operations, production, finance and BI, the Head of Business Control will design and deliver controlling and management reporting in a dynamic international environment.
This role will build reporting and business intelligence on key areas including COGS, OPEX and and ecommerce and retail costs as well as key areas such as fixed costs, cost of sales, cash-flow management and treasury.
Your role:
- Build, Own and run the Group Business Controlling function including building management reporting, analytics and insight
- Build the reporting and business intelligence capability covering key areas such as Cost of Good Sold, Unit economics for retail and eCommerce sales,
- Work with stakeholders across all levels to gather requirements, map processes and define controls and business intelligence insight according to business need
- Design processes and build up the processes, systems and FTE team to deliver Business Controlling according to business needs at both Group and local entity level
- Lead the team covering Controlling, Treasury, Cost-Control and Procurement, driving continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Establish and run rolling forecasts & FP&A analysis
- Identify and lead strategic finance and controlling projects as needed
Your experience:
- Senior Controlling Manager / Business Controlling Lead with 8+ years' experience
- Hands-on approach and strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Prior experience building up Business Controlling reports, processes and systems from scratch in a diverse international scale-up company or ecommerce business
- Team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of key KPIs for eCommerce, retail or logistics businesses
- Consulting background (e.g. Big4, Management Consulting or similar) is nice to have
Location: Lithuania, Baltics or Poland, other EU locations possible with travel
