The Opportunity
A growing multinational consumer business is looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to join its high-performing finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager and working closely with the CFO, this role will play a key part in delivering financial planning, performance reporting and supporting business decisions.
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys analysing performance, partnering with stakeholders and contributing to strategic initiatives within a fast-paced, customer-led environment.
The Challenge
As FP&A Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of monthly performance reporting, including analysing results against budget and forecast
- Assisting in the preparation of reporting packs for senior leadership, providing commentary and insights on key business drivers
- Playing a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Tracking sales, trading performance and operational metrics, identifying trends as well as potential risks and opportunities
- Delivering financial analysis and modelling to support business initiatives, pricing strategies and performance improvement opportunities
- Collaborating with stakeholders across operations, sales and support functions to enhance financial visibility and support planning activities
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
- 4 or more years’ experience within FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance within the retail sector, or other large scale consumer based businesses
- Strong analytical and system skills, able to work in a fast paced and agile environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams
- A proactive mindset, high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship required
