Position Purpose
Own the full lifecycle of capital expenditure (CapEx) and lease accounting while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Fixed Asset Register across vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, and site assets. Support the company's transition from IFRS for SMEs to full IFRS, ensuring strong financial control, compliance, audit readiness, and maximizing asset value to improve project profitability and cash flo

Key Responsibiliti
- esManage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciatio
- n.Review project expenditures and determine CapEx vs. Expense in accordance with IAS 16 and IAS 2
- 3.Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and reconcile it with the General Ledge
- r.Perform monthly IFRS depreciation and prepare ZATCA depreciation reconciliation
- s.Manage lease accounting in accordance with IFRS 16, including ROU assets, lease liabilities, and journal entrie
- s.Monitor asset impairment and coordinate valuations when require
- d.Lead periodic physical asset verification across projects and site
- s.Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentatio
- n.Drive continuous improvements in Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting processes, including ERP optimization and asset tagging initiative
s.Requiremen
- tsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Financ
- e.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets Accountin
- g.Strong knowledge of IAS 16, IAS 23, IAS 36, and IFRS 1
- 6.Experience managing large fixed asset registers, including vehicles, heavy equipment, and construction asset
