The Company

Our client is a well-established international pharmaceutical company with a strong presence across the Nordic region. To support the Nordic organization, we are now looking for an Interim Finance & Reporting Coordinator for a 12-month assignment.

This is a Nordic role with a strong focus on finance, reporting, and financial administration. Working closely with the Nordic General Manager and an international Shared Services Center, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient finance processes, and smooth day-to-day operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and collaborating across functions in an international environment. Hands-on experience working in SAP is essential, as SAP is the primary ERP system used in the role.

The Position

As Interim Finance & Reporting Coordinator, you will be responsible for a broad range of finance, reporting, and administrative activities supporting the Nordic business. You will coordinate purchasing processes, manage financial administration, support budgeting and forecasting, perform reporting and month-end activities, and act as the main finance contact between the Nordic organization and the company's Financial Shared Services Center.

The role combines operational finance with business support and requires a structured, analytical, and service-oriented professional who enjoys working with both numbers and people.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Create purchase orders and manage supplier invoices in SAP.

  • Review, code, and approve vendor invoices.

  • Verify consultant invoices before approval.

  • Maintain vendor master data, including payment terms.

  • Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and invoicing controls.

  • Prepare documentation for annual audits.

  • Act as the internal contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

  • Approve Swedish payroll payments.

  • Manage weekly cash flow reporting.

  • Perform quarterly accruals related to Norwegian supplier tax.

Financial Reporting & Controlling

  • Analyze monthly financial results together with the General Manager.

  • Present Budget vs. Forecast analyses for sales and operating expenses.

  • Coordinate and support the annual OPEX budget and forecasting process.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and support reporting requirements.

  • Monitor office-related costs and financial performance.

  • Coordinate Intrastat and export reporting.

Administration & Business Support

  • Act as the primary liaison with the Financial Shared Services Center.

  • Coordinate finance-related administrative processes and documentation.

  • Manage DocuSign administration.

  • Support internal reporting and marketing cost follow-up.

  • Coordinate general office-related financial administration.

Competence Requirements

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • At least three years of experience in a similar finance and reporting position.

  • Solid experience within finance, accounting, reporting, and financial administration.

  • Hands-on experience working in SAP (required).

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and month-end processes.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Fluent Swedish and good English, both written and spoken.

Education

  • Upper secondary education within Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.

  • Additional education in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent is considered an advantage.
