Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Research Assistant / Research Assistant (Finance) to support financial analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making. This role is focused on assisting with the collection, organization, and interpretation of financial and economic information to support research projects, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will assist in gathering financial data from reliable sources, maintaining research databases, and supporting the preparation of financial reports, market summaries, and analytical presentations. You will help analyze company performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic indicators to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include supporting financial modeling activities, performing basic quantitative and qualitative analysis, preparing research summaries, and assisting in the development of charts, tables, and presentations. You will also monitor financial news, industry updates, and market movements to support ongoing research projects.

The role involves working closely with finance and research teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance. You will contribute to due diligence tasks, competitor analysis, and financial benchmarking exercises while supporting forecasting and valuation-related work when required.

Additional responsibilities may include maintaining spreadsheets and financial datasets, assisting in report writing, organizing research materials, and supporting ad hoc analytical requests. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and financial information.

Qualifications
