We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join a relatively newly established life insurance platform in Dublin.
This is a key hire within the finance function, responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and supporting regulatory and statutory reporting processes within a highly regulated life insurance environment.
The role offers strong exposure across technical accounting, regulatory reporting, and IFRS 17 implementation within life insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support financial and statutory reporting for a life insurance entity
- Deliver reporting in line with IFRS 17 and Solvency II requirements
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review regulatory returns and disclosures
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external advisors
- Contribute to process improvement and control enhancements
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
We are only considering candidates with life insurance experience, ideally from one of the following backgrounds:
- Life insurance / life assurance finance or reporting roles
- Big 4 insurance audit / assurance teams with life insurance client experience
Required Experience
- IFRS 17
- Solvency II
- Financial / statutory reporting within insurance
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Financial Reporting Manager or Senior Finance professional
- Big 4 Senior Manager / Director (Insurance Audit) OR
- Life insurance finance professional from an insurer environment
- Strong technical accounting and regulatory reporting background
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
