Job Summary
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the preparation, consolidation, and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements across the group's business clusters. Operating within Assets Group's Egypt Offshore Finance function, this role ensures full IFRS compliance, drives the integrity of group-level reporting, and serves as the primary interface between the offshore finance team and the Qatar headquarters on all reporting matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Manage the group's financial close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all business units (real estate, hospitality, contracting, and investments).
- Develop and maintain financial reporting frameworks, templates, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with business unit finance teams to consolidate multi-entity financials and resolve intercompany eliminations.
- Produce management reporting packs and board-level financial presentations for senior leadership in Doha.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory requirements and Group accounting policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors; manage audit deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain and enhance the SAP financial reporting environment; develop automated reporting tools to improve efficiency.
- Identify and escalate financial reporting risks and implement corrective controls.
- Mentor and develop the offshore financial reporting team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree or professional certification: CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/accounting; at least 5 years in a reporting or supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation.
- Hands-on SAP experience (FICO module essential; CO/PS a strong advantage).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- GCC experience of 2+ years is an advantage.
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, or diversified holding groups is preferred.
