If you've spent 5+ years in public accounting leading engagements, navigating complex technical accounting, and managing senior stakeholders and you're ready to bring that expertise in-house; this is definitely worth a conversation.
🔹 THE ROLE
As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you'll sit at the center of the company's external reporting function owning key deliverables for SEC filings (10-K and 10-Q), earnings releases, and investor materials. This isn't a supporting role. You'll be the one driving the work, coordinating cross-functionally, and ensuring the company's public reporting holds up to scrutiny.
🔹 WHAT YOU'LL OWN
→ Preparation and review of SEC filings in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements
→ Earnings release and investor presentation support
→ Technical accounting research and formal position paper documentation
→ Primary liaison to internal and external auditors
→ Regulatory financial statements
→ Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
→ Informal mentorship and day-to-day guidance for junior staff
→ Process improvements; you'll be expected to make things better, not just maintain them
🔹 WHAT YOU BRING
→ 5+ years in public accounting, senior or in-charge level
→ CPA (or in progress) strongly preferred
→ Direct experience with SEC reporting and technical accounting research
→ Workiva, Blackline, or PowerPlan familiarity a plus
→ Someone who reads a deadline as a floor, not a ceiling
