Role Description The Financial Planning Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support the organization’s strategic and program objectives. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, tracking project and grant expenditures, and advising leadership on financial risks and opportunities. The Financial Planning Manager will collaborate with program leads to align financial plans with initiatives, support fundraising and proposal budgets, and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves refining financial procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to long-term sustainability planning.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including financial modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of Investments and funding structures relevant to non-profits or youth-focused organizations.
- Sales or fundraising-related skills, including communicating financial value propositions to partners or donors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, youth-focused environment and manage priorities in a part-time, hybrid setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with the Oceania region is a plus.
