About the Position
Our Finance department is looking for a commercially driven and analytically strong FP&A Manager to strengthen our financial planning, performance management, and business partnering capabilities across the organization. This is a key role in shaping how financial insights, performance management, and business partnering are used to drive better decision-making, accountability, and business performance.
As part of a broader transformation of our Finance function, you will operate at the intersection of FP&A, commercial finance, revenue analysis, and business partnering—supporting senior stakeholders with actionable insights, robust forecasts, performance transparency, and clear financial guidance. You will work across multiple functions, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring strong financial transparency across the business.

In this role, you will take ownership of financial planning, performance management, and commercial analysis while partnering closely with business leaders to support growth, profitability, and execution against strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own and drive key FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and strategic decision-making
- Provide clear and actionable insights on financial performance, business drivers, and operational execution to support better decision-making
- Support scenario planning and resource allocation decisions through data-driven analysis
Performance Management & Reporting
- Deliver high-quality monthly reporting and performance analysis across business units
- Track and challenge key financial and operational KPIs to improve performance visibility and accountability across the business
- Ensure transparency and alignment between financial targets, forecasts, and actual results
- Help establish performance management frameworks that connect strategic objectives with measurable outcomes
Revenue & Commercial Analysis
- Support revenue forecasting, pipeline tracking, and margin analysis across products and markets
- Partner with commercial leaders to evaluate pricing, business cases, deal economics, and profitability
- Identify risks and opportunities related to revenue development and business performance
- Support commercial decision-making through market, customer, and profitability analysis
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to leaders across Sales, Operations, Product, and other functions
- Translate financial data into clear recommendations that support decision-making
- Challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and proactively drive performance improvements
Process Improvement & Finance Development
- Contribute to strengthening FP&A processes, tools, and reporting structures
- Drive improvements in data quality, financial transparency, and efficiency
- Support the ongoing evolution of Finance from a reporting function to a proactive business partner focused on decision support and value creation
As FP&A Manager at Cobham Satcom, your qualifications should ideally be:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience within FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering, controlling, or a related finance discipline
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel (experience with BI tools is a plus)
- Experience supporting commercial decision-making through forecasting, performance management, revenue analysis, or commercial finance is an advantage
- Solid understanding of financial planning processes, performance management, and reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance audiences
This role will be based at the Cobham Satcom headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby.
