Job Summary:
The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s financial health by analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, and assisting in the budgeting process. This role provides insight into business performance and helps drive strategic decisions through financial analysis and modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather data and understand operational impacts on financial outcomes.
Monitor key financial and operational metrics (KPIs) to support business performance.
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business strategies and initiatives.
Support cost optimization and efficiency improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar finance role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
