Join a purpose‑driven winning team committed to results in an inclusive and high‑performing culture. As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high‑quality advice and service within the mass‑affluent market.
You will drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance and regulatory requirements, and establishing business development opportunities with prospects and clients within the assigned market area.
Responsibilities
- Execute business development plans for prospects and existing clients in the mass‑affluent market.
- Identify additional business‑development opportunities and facilitate the implementation of investment solutions or referrals to appropriate partners.
- Provide client‑centric investment solutions through a financial planning framework, aligning with Global Sales Principles.
- Conduct outbound communications and proactive calling to prospects and conduct complimentary needs analysis across financial statements.
- Participate actively in local professional and community events to develop and expand network.
- Identify opportunities to deliver community information sessions and financial seminars to grow prospects.
- Build and maintain a market profile and network with investment industry specialists while managing a small marketing budget.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Mutual funds certified professional with current MFDA licensing requirements (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
- Completed Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
- Proven networking, client acquisition and interpersonal skills; experience building Centres of Influence (COIs).
- Goal‑oriented and entrepreneurial, able to work independently as a self‑motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team.
- Extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions and regulatory environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to meet clients and prospects within the district.

Additional Information
- Compensation is base plus variable pay. This is a mobile role requiring frequent travel.
