Job Description
Financial Planner – Provide personalized financial planning and protection advice to mass affluent investing clients, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and support new business and client loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Identify clients’ life and financial goals, conduct comprehensive reviews, and build long‑term relationships through financial planning expertise.
- Conduct reporting and relevant analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continually assess program effectiveness.
- Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication.
- Monitor service productivity, assess efficiency, and implement continuous improvements.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends.
- Provide mentorship, assistance, and direction to colleagues.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with risk appetite.
- Support a positive and service‑oriented work environment as an active team member.
Required Qualifications
- Financial Planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required.
- Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) if not currently licensed.
- 3 to 5 years of banking experience.
- Required bilingualism in English and French to serve clients.
