Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand life and financial objectives, conduct in‑depth financial reviews, and foster long‑term connections through ongoing support and guidance.
- Leverage data‑driven insights to analyze results, develop recommendations, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of financial programs, policies, and practices.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives while enhancing the client experience and demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.
- Monitor productivity and service delivery, identify opportunities for increased efficiency, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to remain at the forefront of financial planning.
- Mentor and guide colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Uphold a strong culture of risk management and control, aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
- Engage fully as a valued team member and contribute to a positive, service‑oriented workplace.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in banking services, with a track record of managing client relationships and providing tailored investment advice (preferred).
- Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) if not currently licensed.
- Commitment to achieving the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first three years in the role.
- CFP Eligibility requirements:
University Degree OR meet one of the following:- Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience.
- Have been a QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying.
