Role Summary

A Financial Manager or Corporate Finance Director oversees the financial health of an organization. This role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making to support business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and key financial metrics.

2. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders during financial reviews.

3. Strategic Financial Management

  • Advise senior management on investment, funding, and growth strategies.
  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and capital allocation opportunities.
  • Support long-term business planning and risk management initiatives.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor finance teams, including accountants, analysts, and controllers.
  • Foster collaboration across departments for accurate financial reporting and planning.
  • Implement best practices for financial processes and internal controls.

5. Treasury & Risk Management

  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash management and banking relationships.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure efficient capital structure and funding strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in corporate finance, financial management, or accounting leadership roles.
