SUMMARY:
Are you a hands-on Finance Manager who thrives in a tough, high-volume industrial / production environment? If you’re strong on stock, controls, and operations and not afraid to roll up your sleeves, this one’s for you.
POSITION INFO:
A well-established business based in Johannesburg is looking for a resilient, no-nonsense finance professional to take ownership of their finance function and drive performance in a demanding environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Full finance function management
- Deep dive into stock control, costing, and variances
- Managing high-volume transactions and tight margins
- Driving financial discipline across operations
- Monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensuring strong internal controls and compliance
- Working closely with production and operational teams
What We’re Looking For:
- BCom in Finance / Accounting
- Articles advantageous
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in industrial / manufacturing / production
- Strong stock and costing experience (non-negotiable)
- A strong personality – able to handle pressure and push back when needed
- Hands-on, practical, and operationally focused
